Really struggling atm... I'm on my meds but still feel awful that such thing had happened to me. Lots and lots of shame and regret...

Re: Post psychosis PTSD
@sara74 Hey sara74 I too have suffered psychosis and am now diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. There is no reason for you to feel shame. These things happen to the best of people and when someone is sick they are in the grips of psychosis and cannot help what they do and say. If I still felt shame I wouldnt be able to function with the most basic of daily functions. You are a good person I can tell. Take care of yourself and know that you are not alone. Love greenpeax

Re: Post psychosis PTSD
Thank you for your reply, @greenpea! I do not know my diagnosis yet but will find out soon (hopefully), I feel it would help me to cope. My doctors tend to focus on my anxiety more, also they say I might have paranoid personality disorder. Personally, at this point I think I had psychotic depression. So, this confusion with diagnosis does not help but you are right, it is better to focus on daily functions and future plans, not the past, I agree. 🙂
