Hahahaha @Captain24 . So secretly, Jett really adores Pix! That's so cute. I hope Pix is safe under there. That's very very cute.
And bras! Arghhhh..... You're funny lol.
Yes, I hate jigsaws too. They do my head in.
So at least we are on the same track there.

He is a really anxious dog and Pix is his obsession. He has to know where she is at all times. @tyme. The anxiety is real!!!
I’ll put on a bra tomorrow night as we are going to dinner so I better look presentable. As much as it’s going to be a disaster. Mum is already getting on my nerves. Complaining that she had to organise it. No one is talking to each other so it could be a long 1 1/2 hours
There is a lot similar!!
This is the wooden thing I do. I’m useless at it as I can’t make the musical part work. I couldn’t on the last one either,

@Captain24 , That's piano thing looks too complicated... do you need glue?
Lol. Bra-less days - love it.
Is it that hard to organise a dinner out? Have you asked whether she actually genuinely WANTS to go with you all? Totally not worth hearing the complaining.
When I go to Syd, my parents LOVE taking us all out. We never pay anything. They organise everything. We are served like princesses...
That's why sometimes I think whether for you all, it's absence makes the heart grow fonder... then again, I'm aware you help each other with the dogs...

No glue it all just slots in. It has lots of little parts so it takes me a long time as I get frustrated and the instructions aren’t the best. I just pop them out of the little wood sheets and slot them in @tyme
Never come to my house without warning. You never know what you’re going to get!!
It is hard as it’s with dad’s brothers and sisters. This is hard with out names. Dad has a sister in Newcastle. She rang mum and told her that she had to organise a dinner tomorrow night for S2 who is 70 tomorrow. Another of dad’s sisters S3 said that S2 wouldn’t go because it’s for her and she likes to cause issues. But S3 and S2 aren’t talking anyway. So mum has booked for 12 and has no idea as to who is turning up. It’ll be us 3 and one of dad’s brothers and his daughter for sure. It’s usually me that organises it all so I don’t really know why she is complaining.
Then the sister in Newcastle said that the birthday sister isn’t to pay for her own meal. Mum has the shots and said it’ll have to be up to them. That’s all good for her to complain, mum hasn’t paid for a dinner yet it’s always up to me.
Sorry that’s a long winded confusing story.
Then there is this whole other family dinner with Dads cousins from Sydney which I would rather go to but I’ll be at work. It’s a shame though as I may never see one of them again.
Oh.. that would be nice @tyme. To be looked after and treated well. Being so independent it would probably drive you a little crazy!
Yeah we need each other. Mums extra frustrated because the sister in Newcastle has sent mum the presents for the birthday sister. But the Newcastle one is neurotic and it has to be wrapped in a certain way with certain parts together. She had to sit on the opposite side of the table when her, mum and dad had lunch.. why?? Because their clothes didn’t match!!

Yikes!!!! OMG, that is ... wow. I don't even know how else to describe it... that fact that she has to sit in a certain place or have gifts wrapped in a certain way... that's wow. Imagine living in that brain. Must be so so hard.
Oh, and no, your story wasn't confusing. I know you have a HUGE family. That is stressful in itself. As much as you want to include everyone, you can't. And if it comes to money and paying for meals, it sounds more of a headache than it's worth. I hope you will be okay.
Actually, do you know if your extended family have any MH conditions that you know of? It may shed light on what you are experiencing. Only a passing thought.
@Captain24 Oh, and I get what you mean about those 'instructions'. It's like you get all the flat back furniture with instructions in another language and you can't make head or tail of it. Good luck with the piano structure. It sort of seems that you may give up and chuck it out lol.
And yes, all 3 of us are very very independent. We don't rely on each other or our parents at all. We paid for everything ourselves and never expected or expect our parents to pay for anything at all.

You know what my naughty niece said to me today? "Did you know M (her brother) was born on a highway?" I looked at her and was thinking, "What are you talking about?"
She says, "Yes, he was born on a highway. That's because that's where most accidents happen."
And last night, I saw she had this rash on her face and I said, "You might have shingles too". She then got on her knees to pretend she was praying and said, "Dear God, I'm sorry I locked my sister outside the house and made her cry... I'm sorry for making my siblings cry... [blah blah blah] please don't give me shingles"
She's so naughty @Captain24

Mum had the hide to say to me that she must be where I get all my problems from, that she must have adhd! Mum doesn’t get it! @tyme
I couldn’t cope in her brain. She has to look for signs in everything. Any conversation with her is hard to follow. She has bags for different days, different outfits. Can’t wear the same thing some place you’ve worn it before. But she is a kind hearted person. Just does your head in.
The family is huge so it’s always difficult. But the one whose birthday it is is the most difficult to deal with. Shame I’m not working.
Dad has anxiety, mum has depression, the birthday one has depression. I have a cousin with bipolar 2, my aunty said mine isn’t as bad as his because I work.
I think my brother may have bipolar but I’m pretty sure he has adhd.
That’s just one side of the family. None of it’s diagnosed but I can see it.
That’s the way it should be. Pay everything yourself and don’t expect it. When we were on holidays they would pay for one nights dinner and then I’d pay the next night. So that worked out fairly. My brother doesn’t even offer. Just expects it.

That's a lot of genes to contend with! Yikes! @Captain24 Here there an everywhere - in other words, you don't have much of a chance to be rid of any condition, eh?
I see the adhd in my neice so much. I still haven't got my diagnosis yet. I think I'm just going to wait.
Do either of your parents work? Coz in a way, if you calculate fairly, you should be paying a third of everything... not half. But if they aren't working, then that's different @Captain24
Sounds like your brother is just a typical one, eh? He'll learn. His partner will teach him - even if it's the hard way.

She’s a firecracker @tyme. I’m going to use that though! My brother must have been born on a highway too!
I love that she instantly prayed!
Nah.. I’m pretty doomed.
I’ve started the process and I’m not real sure. I’ll let you know after my next appointment. Then I can give you an idea. Hopefully. The Pdoc isn’t sure if the depression is bipolar related as meds need to be adjusted or is it the adhd. So there is a lot of stuff to work through. Plus antidepressants and stimulants can cause mania!
Mums on dsp and dad has retired. They never think of things as three ways it’s always half.
Uep my brother is self centred and selfish
