feel the warmth @Former-Member your community are rallying around you ![]()
Be kind and gentle with yourself, all feelings are ok to feel, I know some can be harder to manage than others but allowing and giving oursleves permission to feel all feelings is important too.

thanks guys
how long did it take for you to see some progress with your sessions?
i feel like crap everytime i come out of there and today was made worse becasue she embarrassed me- unintentionally but now i feel really awkward around her and that was pretty much most of the session.
maybe i should just get over it and quit 😞

We were in the seasions and talking about aome things and when i get embarrassed or other feelings i tend to smile rather than cry. I dont know why that is but she pointed it out and now i feel awkward about it @Pepsimax@Former-Member@utopia@Faith-and-Hope

Heya @Former-Member,
Just saw this. Good on you for getting to your session today. Therapy is not easy - working through our own messy stuff is complicated and hard, and it can stir up a lot of emotions.
Therapy can help us to become more aware of our behaviours, and I think embarrassment stems from being self-conscious of behaviours that we don't want attention drawn too. When someone points something out with me, I find it really hard to not focus on it, so I can see how this could interfere with your session.
If this incident goes on to create a barrier in therapy, perhaps you could bring it up, and let her know that you feel really self-conscious about it now?
