Re: Coping with negative/suicidal thoughts.

Oh weaning is always noisy!! Poor baby girl and needles!! Although they don't really seem to feel them!
My Little boy has a hugely high pain threshold and never minds needles... Me on the other hand!! Sigh

My dr wants me out walking every day too Bec saying it helps everyone so much but I really don't have any motivation to!! Sigh I just watch biggest loser and feel tired lol - but I don't actually need to lose much weight as such just need to be healthier

Re: Coping with negative/suicidal thoughts.

What kind of animal is Killara?

Re: Coping with negative/suicidal thoughts.

@Former-Member yeah, our guys got weaned a few weeks ago. The farm we're going to has mini donkeys, so she knows how noisy weaning is. Trust me, a donkey crying outside your bedroom window is worse than bawling cattle...

@Former-Member Killara is a cow. She's a Limousin heifer (bubby girl).

Re: Coping with negative/suicidal thoughts.

Lol I lived near donkeys once!! I remember!! But they're cute still!

Are you watching telly while you're on here? I'm watching David Attenborough Madagascar with my daughter she loves animal docos

Re: Coping with negative/suicidal thoughts.

Sorry I missed you @Crazy_Bug_Lady but glad you had someone to share with.Heart

Watching Netflix atm

Re: Coping with negative/suicidal thoughts.

I'm just catching up with the forum before going to bed ...

I dont know how you do it @Crazy_Bug_Lady to get so much work done ... and a lot of it is very physical so you must be pretty fit.

Re: Coping with negative/suicidal thoughts.

That's the thing @Appleblossom

That's part of what got me here... I am completely exhausted. Work Monday to Friday, plus Sundays at the farm. And I am working this weekend. So tomorrow I'm up at 6am to go to work for 2 hours, then up to the farm.
I don't know how long I can keep doing this.

Re: Coping with negative/suicidal thoughts.

Sometimes maybe its about getting runs on the board and hanging on to your heifer ... and figuring out what your priorities actually are ... and gradually you might be able to negotiate a less hectic lifestyle ???

Working ethic is great but not when it turns to burn out.

Re: Coping with negative/suicidal thoughts.

I know I know.

I just hate that I can't do things like others do.

I'm debating seeing if my psychiatrist can see me sooner. I have an appointment next Tuesday, but I dunno if I should try and deal with this sooner...
