Hey guys!
As we know, from midnight tonight (AEST) there are some Temporary Moderation Changes.
@Dreamy @MissinTooth and I were discussing what we can do to still feel connected when we are feeling overwhelmed and out of sorts during this period when we usually connect with each other.
We discussed posting last week's Wind down Wednesday activity each hour we can't sleep and checking in on each other the next morning.
We may not see our posts immediately, but we will know that we're still looking out for each other and we're not alone.
Now I know it's likely we're not the only ones feeling this way, so I invite you to join us.

The first grounding tool we’ll be exploring is the 3-3-3 technique.

@avant-garde thankyou for making this sweet ♥️. I'll be popping in and making a post if I wake up during the night struggling.

@MissinTooth @avant-garde I'm saying goodnight to you both. I've had a bit of drama here and I'm just not coping well so I'm stepping back for the night. I shall chat to you both tomorrow ❤️.

@Dreamy @avant-garde it's 1.30 am and I've woken with a pain in the belly and a headache...
3 things I can see...
The fuzzy grey darkness of my bedroom.
The light border of the window to me right.
The light of my watch shining through the sleeve of my pj's
3 things I can hear...
My ears ringing
The steady whirr of the fridge in the background.
Luna's sleepy breathing through her nose.
Move 3 parts of my body...
Wriggled my toes against the doonah
Rubbing my thumb and forefinger against the magnetic clasp of my phone case
Stretched my legs out straight, then relaxed the muscles again.

@avant-garde @MissinTooth i have been awake so many times tonight with panic, it's been horrible. So here goes me trying this exercise to calm myself down.
3 things I can see.
•There's my weighted stitch teddy that's soft and fluffy and has a little tuft of hair on his head.
•There's my avant-garde teddy cos I didn't want to be alone last night and she has her pretty top and skirt on.
• There's my pink nee doh cube that's hard and cold.
3 things I can hear.
• There's the wind outside, it's loud and it's rattling the windows.
• There's Casper snoring next to me, he snores softly so I find it very soothing.
• There's my heart pounding, it's loud and it's thumping in my head.
3 body parts to move
• I'm wriggling my toes and I can feel them moving against the sheet.
• My thumb is moving across my screen while I'm typing.
• I'm moving my legs to stretch them out.
I hope you guys have both been able to get some sleep. Look forward to checking in with you both soon ♥️
