Good morning folks.
I have a work about the wars over sea's, but not yet the courage to print it.
This popped in my head last night instead, . . . when the ghosts returned.
THE GHOST OF BROKEN HOMES.
No cherry blossom childhood
raw rooms of scattered screams
Betrayed by beasts of brotherhood
Devoured by devil dreams
The years that take and giveth nought
That cruel house on the hill
What's never known just can't be sought
Nor angered hearts be still
That house reviled in forest deep
Just took from her too much
Still hunts the child
now running wild
From shadows sharpened clutch
Estranged from fair and velvet forge
Black roses smithed in sin.
While wolves upon her banquet gorge
The child that dies within.
And with that death
Wind whispered wheat
She'll run till runneth over.
And take with her
Their thirst for meat
To blood white cliffs of Dover.
Now if upon a picnic lone
Cold breath from childhoods ghost.
She mourns to you what matters least tonys.. mb 1
