I'm genuinely sorry that so many of you are hurting.
We accept your anger @utopia. It is right for the circumstances. But I wish you more peace than that. Your connection would have made a real difference.
Can we come back to this tomorrow? I'm aware that you were encouraged to come here to talk it through but I find myself without the right words right now. Words that will help. I can listen though.

Thank you @Former-Member, @Kurra, @Shaz51, @Former-Member, @utopia @Former-Member for your really kind support. I guess this is still close to our hearts right now and we will all have different ways to navigate it. In my logic mind I can make sense of it all but it's still the heart that rules and I think like @utopia we just so desperately want a more hopeful outcome. Please take care all of you 💜🤗💐 sending hugs.

Thankyou @Tory for that uplifting reply. I do some cross stitching I enjoy and express myself this way - it does really help I find. I know who I am - it's just I have no one in real life to talk about the deep stuff. So I bottled it. My husband is hurting to so I can't approach him. And although I feel I am coping, I find I can't feel joy or excitement anymore. And I zone out a lot.....emotionally numb I think. Would love to feel normally again.

I just want to say thankyou @Former-Member for all you do. We have to learn to open up and to shut off all at the same time. We do our best and my motto in this lesson called life is "One day at a time". Thankyou.

Hi @Bandit1, thanks so much for reaching out through the forums. You've come in at the end of a discussion and I'm worried that your post will be missed. Would you mind if I created a new thread for it so that it will be visible to others and recieive more replies?

Thank you@Former-Member We just had dinner .. a bit late .. but my son needed a lot of focus & strength to get enough dishes done and to make space for me to cook .. but God I love him ..
Yes I am getting better at "course correct" I have a new term!
Perhaps the degree of injury was so significant .. it is easy to knock the scab off and expose the full extent of the wound.
I understand boundaries a lot better than when I first joined the forum.
