You have no idea how relieved I am to read that someone else has similar thoughts on forced treatment as myself.
It is very hard to talk to others about the harm that was done to me in that situation. People do not believe how horrid it is to be in a locked ward. I wont go on much more as it is extremely painful for me to reflect at this time but I want you to know I appreciate this thread and sharing your thoughts.
I hope I can learn to express it as articulately as you have in the future. Some medical treatment is not far off torture and it needs to be at least reviewed and at most banned with the perpetrators punished.
I am sorry you went through a terrible time and I am thankful you are here to speak up now. We must be heard so others do not suffer.
