Re: not coping

@outlander I hope this new chapter in life brings a sense of peace. Change can be hard too, but we will be here to support you 💖🫂

Re: not coping

thank you @creative_writer you are right it is a challange with the changes. there are so many right now

@Snowie im not really sure. its not overly things i want to do its more that im still anticipating all the changes. i cant change the house to my name for another week and thats if they approve it they might decide to still move me into another house so im stillnot really sure.
i feel like i should still be preparing to move even though ive got a few months but itll go quickly esp with all the appointments and everything.

i was also given more bad news in my test results today but need to wait to see the specialist in 2 weeks for further treatment . the gp can diagnose but its not really here specialty so have more things to process again.
i was going to go for a walk but im getting abit tired and its getting cold

Re: not coping

Hey @outlander ,

I'm here for you.

I'm just catching up on your posts. I'm sorry the results were not the best.

With the house, are you saying it's a rental, and they can't transfer the rental to your name, which means you have to move out? Sorry it I have my wires crossed.

Re: not coping

Hi @tyme

It’s public house and despite me living here for many years I’m not actually a tenant just on the lease as someone living here so I have to apply to actually become the main tenant.
As this house is altered quite abit for disability and it’s a few bedrooms they can actually decline me staying here and move me to somewhere smaller.
They more than likely won’t but it’s still a possibility they may do that as it’s only me living here now.
They’ve said for this house they can only offer up to 6 months which is still a lot better then nothing

Re: not coping

Oh @outlander ,

Thanks for clarifying.

I'm glad you can stay there for a bit longer. I hope it gets easier for you. You really deserve it.

Do you have help to look for a place if you need to?

I recognise it is such a difficult time for you right now.

Re: not coping

I would apply for housing ongoing @tyme a house after 6 months isn’t guaranteed but I can apply.

They can sort of help with abit of bond and rent assistance if I get approved for disability but it also takes time.

Re: not coping

Fingers crossed. Hopefully when you get all the papers and documents, it can be pushed through a little easier. @outlander

I recognise it is so hard right now, yet I'm also confident that things will improve... I don't know what it is inside me, but I just feel it.

Re: not coping

I’m sure it’ll all work out in the end @tyme just have to take it each day as it comes and keep wading through the mud

Re: not coping

Do you mind if we wade through the slosh and mud with you? @outlander

Re: not coping

I don’t mind @tyme thanks
