I’m glad it’s less foggy for you. Maybe getting out helped you @tyme
Im glad you have a game plan.
I have to mow my lawns, I have a GP appointment, I need to go to the dog treat man at the markets and I want to go to Bunnings and see if they have the shelf kit I saw while I was away. I’m not holding my breath though.
Oh and I booked into hospital today for August.
yesterday
Oh! The dog treat man again 🙂 Nice!
And Bunnings! That's right! You've got to get the shelves! So will it go in that spare room for all your lego?
Are you a handy person in terms of building things and fixing things?
Oh, and the lawns NEVER cease to stop growing!!! @Captain24 Might just need to buy a cow, sheep or goat and put it on the lawns...
yesterday
It’s a kit. So it’s just a flat pack. @tyme
I love building flat packs!!! I’m not very handy though.
Yeah it’ll go in the spare room. Filled with Lego! At least I’ll have somewhere to put my Lego.
Ive set up a shelf in the wardrobe in the spare room with my craft stuff that I bought.
My lawns are very daunting. It’s at least 2 hours. That’s without doing the edges. I don’t have a whipper snipper so the edges just don’t get done.
yesterday
Yeah, flat packs are pretty okay - if you have the right tools that is more than just an allan key! I put my niece's double bunk bed up. It was a nightmare! That's when you NEED 2 people.
To be honest, once you do the edges, it feels really 'nice'.. 'clean' might be a good word. I used to do the lawns every week and the edges fortnightly.
You've got 3 bedrooms in your house? @Captain24
yesterday
I’m hoping this is easy @tyme. Just have to see if they have it. If not mum and dad are going over to a town where there is a bigger Bunnings that might have it.
I need to buy a whipper snipper but I’m useless at using them anyway. It would look so much nicer. But it would take hours. I try to mow regularly.
My house has 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas and 2 bathrooms so it’s quite a good size
yesterday
Wow! That's massive for one person! @Captain24 Have you ever had people live with you? Not to stay, but actually live? Sorry for all these questions. How long have you been there again?
With the whipper snipper, I guess things are always improving. I don't know what the latest ones are like.
yesterday
As for your hospital stay, is it another program you are entering @Captain24 ?
yesterday
It’s a good size @tyme. it’s the rooms aren’t overly large they just fit a queen bed comfortably, my room is a really good size though.
I haven’t had anyone live here with me but I have had a few house mates in the past but it hasn’t worked out and I usually kick them out!
I’ll have been here 4 years in June.
Ask as many questions as you want.
It’s the same course that I did last August when they kept me in and wouldn’t let me leave.
yesterday
At least you can live comfortably @Captain24 . That's most important. It's nice to have somewhere to call home.
As for the course, maybe you will be in better place this time to have the therapeutic work as opposed to merely just surviving? What do you think?
yesterday
It’s a beautiful house. I still love all my tile/paint/kitchen selections. @tyme
I think I will be in a better place. My psych will help me. Plus if I’m struggling while I’m there my psych will book me in for a private appointment. My psych is the facilitator!
I will also have a Pdoc by then that I’ll be working with.
So it’s all moving in the right direction.
