@Glisten i also worked in retail over 18 years ago, don't know how I did it to be honest.
Could very well be related to trauma.
I never used to struggle so much going to the shops, yes I had anxiety but I was able to mask it. Now it's a whole different story, I have to put my ear buds in to drown out the noise and get in and out of there as quickly as possible.

cant beat a good nurse when in hospital @PeppyPatti there was one at kal hosp years ago who made me feel a bit spoiled, well they they had admitted me due to anaesthetic, but ended up letting me go home.When at Armadale there was one got me a phone charger, checked on my car and joked about being my 'call girl' re I pushed the button and she would appear. all with a smile. I liked the tea trolley and that I could ask any time of day and I would be brought a sandwich lol. some meals were okay, def on low budget tho lol

oh , I prob avoid bunnings cos sometimes things hard to find and cos shelves so high etc, well plus there isnt one anywhere near me atm. now that you mention, its one place I never felt comfortable at. not even in the carpark, due to type of people who shop there's driving ability lol guess just felt on edge whole time I was there. like being watched. cos I was ha ha lol @Glisten
