Yay, my appointment is done & dusted as you say  I had so much sugar in my hot choc's before-hand I'm pretty wired now but will calm down when my blood sugar resumes normal functioning! @Bunniekins Well done with your mum, you're a lovely daughter. Whatever snobbery she has is probably old baggage from her past before you were around, from where I'm sitting you're a kind, generous, warm, strong and courageous woman and I'm fortunate to have you as a friend. The fact that your own daughter is able to laugh it off shows how much you've grown her up & protected her to be a strong individual, you've broken the cycle & handed none of the snobbery into the next generation - not everyone is able to make that huge change. Be proud greenpea  I couldn't face my mum last nite but you were able to give your mum a gift & hospitality. You're a good daughter & a good person

Yes, very supportive counsellor, thank you @BryanaCamp , and my creative pursuits are certainly helping to sustain me through some pretty rough emotional territory at the moment.  Very mixed feelings about the os trio for similar reasons ..... the emotional turmoil is coming with us, and I will be distanced from some people I very much feel a need to support at the moment ...... There will be some lovely moments, but restful it certainly won’t be, so we will be returning to the new semester scrambled and tired ..... but that is our rollercoaster for you.

@Former-Member so lovely of you to be thinking of me as well.  I hope your visit with your brother has been the lovely restful pick-me-up after the chaotic presence of your precious visitor, and that hubby has been a little more settled.  I know you’re still worried about him.

I was hoping i would get better too @Shaz51 but I have been getting worse. I am on antibiotics now but if that doesn't work I will probably be going to hospital
