@Cuddlebear @snowflake231 @Jake63 @Froggyhops and anybody reading along….
sorry if anyone feels left out in tagging…. The great thing about these social threads is just being able to jump on and say hello… then at least your name shows up in the little drop down list of the recent contributors…. And we gradually get to know you….
it was actually a lovely sunny day outside….

@Cuddlebear With tagging… use the @… sign… after the drop down list… which includes the thread originator, plus the most recent 4 contributors… if I have time… I do the @@sign and start typing various people’s names that I can remember. Maybe that is why some people always seem to get tagged. Occasionally I go to the bottom of the page where it shows those who are online… or if go through new discussions and posts and try and tag people into the more social hub conversations. The mods and peer workers also try and keep it open and welcoming… it’s not cut and dried… some people may not want to be tagged or feel too vulnerable for chat. I do think people try, and some are more natural at it.. and some stay in their own threads with people they know… hopefully there is a bit of give and take… there isn’t a right way… as we are all humans…. Different horses for courses and all that… Some of the ad hoc ness… gives the forum some warmth….
you can also just press … new discussion… and start your own thread….its good to tag a little as you are more likely to receive responses.

Hey @Dreamy
I just spent the last nearly 3 hours helping a 79 year old friend set up her new modem
My patience and problem solving astounded her and it made me smile
