Good morning and good afternoon @oceangirl @Faith-and-Hope @TAB @Dimity @StuF @MDT @Shaz51 @Owlunar @Former-Member @hanami @Snowie @Meowmy @amber22 @Paperdaisy @Historylover @maddison @EternalFlower @tyme and all forumites here. Happy Wednesday to you!
I’m still feeling down with not much going on - plenty of things to do but not much motivation to do them unfortunately- so I’m choosing to do things that make me feel happy and productive which is working on a crochet blanket for charity and listening to some music via Apple Music on my iPhone. I left a message for the local mental health service to follow up my PARCS referral so hopefully that gets done soon as my GP would like me to get some help at PARCS with my depression. I’ve already done some research as to what needs to happen should I get an admission there so at least I won’t be disappointed when the staff offer tokenistic help to me- just some things on establishing a routine and working through the depression cycle. I feel that unless things have drastically changed at the facility, it’s best to be prepared with things I can work on by myself with the information I’ve collected in the time I have there. 2 weeks just isn’t enough to get the support and assistance I need but that’s the new rules since so many people need the service here in Victoria unfortunately and therefore, it’s up to me to make the most of the time I have there. At least, that’s my perspective of the whole treatment service at least. It could’ve changed over time which would be great but I’m not certain of those to be honest so I’ll just wait and see whatever happens.
Take care!

Thanks for the update @Judi9877 I hope it's a helpful stay. I remember the last one being difficult for you but as you say 2 weeks isn't a long time. Good luck with everything. Take care 💝

You're doing well to be so proactive in your own wellbeing @Judi9877 . I struggle with routines too, especially when I'm down, which is probably a vicious cycle. I looked up PARCs and found there seems to be a maze of community mental health services and referrals to navigate. But there are support services I didn't know about.and maybe should investigate.

@MDT, well done on taking charge! How's that feeling?
I also laughed a little about the "uninformed and unprofessional lizard" hehe
