Re: Good Morning!

Sounds like a camp stove @StuF @TAB

Re: Good Morning!

yes, @MDT @Former-Member @StuF  just that it  its very small and light

'Army style small personal stove which uses low flame hexamine fuel in tablet form. The stove can be used with prongs up or down depending on ground conditions. The sides can be folded inwards to achieve the best support for the size of mug or pan being used. The fuel can be stored inside the closed stove when not in use. Save on fuel and excess flame by breaking individual tablets into pieces (this also makes them easier to light). One broken tablet will boil half a large army canteen mug with folding handle. Flame is virtually invisible and smokeless. The stove should not be used in an enclosed or unventilated space. Excellent when weight and size is a concern. Not suitable for cooking larger meals which require long cooking (due to the amount of fuel required) but ideal for one person small meals and drinks.'

also at BCF ..

Good morning and good afternoon @MDT @TAB @Former-Member @StuF @maddison @Bunniekins @Shaz51 @Paperdaisy @tyme @Eve7 @frog @Daisydreamer @Meowmy @Peri @outlander @Boo13 @LookingHopeful and all forumites here. I hope you are having a good day!

Melbourne is playing its mixed weather game today with it being sunny in the morning and it looks like rain/storm coming over soon so basically Melbourne can’t make up its mind what it wants to do! I’m okay today - not too good not too bad. I’ve been out to do some shopping and to pick up some meds from the chemist as well as fill the car with fuel. Nothing very interesting!

Take care!

Re: Good Morning!

Thanks @TAB for going to the trouble of posting it.  I really appreciate the information!  I don't know what I will be buying after seeing this and some other options.  I am in the process of trying to make a purchasing decision but will put it off until I have further data and read positive reviews.  I have seen "rocket stoves" that are cheap and use wood as well as solar powered cookers that use reflected sunlight. Theres pros and cons each way.  I just don't want to be reliant on the power grid if we have a cyber attack so I can still cook food!
