Good morning and good afternoon @Glisten @Former-Member @PeppyPatti @TAB @oceangirl @MDT @Shaz51 @Meowmy @Clawde @Bunniekins @Appleblossom @Oaktree @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @avant-garde @tyme @Jynx @Ru-bee @rav3n @Historylover and all forumites here this Saturday. I hope you have a fabulous day today! If you’re in the sun and heat, take extra care of yourself, especially here in Melbourne where it’s meant to be 37 today!
@Glisten thanks for the tag! Much appreciated!
As for me, it’s getting things organised to get ready for a PARCS admission on Monday for 2 weeks in regional Victoria. The aim is to try and work on my sleep hygiene and other mental health issues along with getting some respite away from my housemate and her related health issues. The psychiatrist isn’t doing a meds change - apparently PARCS don’t do this as they don’t have clinical staff on board at this particular PARCS facility - so they are hoping the PARCS stay will sort out my issues (very unlikely but it’s a holiday so I’ll take it!). They will look at meds when I get back from PARCS and go from there. What I do know is my allocated mental health worker seems to believe that getting outside in the sun cures all things and that I need to be outside most of the day ( not in 30+ degrees for me as I don’t cope well with hot weather!) and they want me to limit my conversations with my housemate whilst I’m at PARCS - again, not going to happen if she’s in crisis and needs me! I’m packing my knitting, crochet, cross stitch stuff, books, pencils/textas/ etc, and some books to read to keep me busy. I’m just hoping the internet connection is decent up in the location as I need to stream some of my favourite shows and movies and listen to my music if I get bored! I’ll try and keep up to date here in forumland when I can but I apologise if I’m not as active over the next 2 weeks for this reason.
Take care!
