Re: Good Morning!

All good @Appleblossom. A hertz alto recorder sounds interesting will have to look it up.  I just do Solfeggios off you tube.  Can you provide a link.  Have done a quick search but could not see anything online.  Have you done much with vagus nerve stimulation at all?  It seems to really settle the body.

Re: Good Morning!

G'day champ @Bill16

Good morning and good afternoon @MDT @Former-Member @Appleblossom @Bill16 @TAB @LookingHopeful @Clawde @Meowmy @Shaz51 @tyme @Former-Member @cloudcore @Paperdaisy @Daisydreamer @frog @NatureLover @CrazyChick @Codex1 @Anastasia and all forumites here. I hope your Sunday is going well.

@TAB I’m glad you got out to get some shopping done. Well done!

@MDT I hope your day picks up today and things go better for you.

@Former-Member I know what it’s like to not take meds and have trouble sleeping. I’ve been having trouble sleeping for a while now so I’m trying some melatonin tablets which are okay, not the best but not the worst.

As for me, I’ve woken up a little teary and upset and bored, like I have nothing to do because I haven’t got any study on due to quitting on campus studying. It’s like I feel worthless and like I’ve got nothing to achieve or look forward to so what’s the point in waking up and facing the day? I’m sorry for the rant/disappointment, I just needed somewhere to write and get things out of my head. I’m just stuck in a rut at the moment of being in nowhere land and I hate it.

Take care and stay safe!

Judi9877☺️💐

Re: Good Morning!

Yes @TAB like music used in heart surgery to relax the heart!  I've just had my morning celery juice. Was able to use a liquid castille fragrance free soap to wash it with which is good! The last fragrance free detergent did not agree with me. So a big win today TABs 💙

Re: Good Morning!

I hope you get some much needed rest soon.  I had a good night last night.  Melatonin is good.  I wonder what is causing your sleep disruption.  Its very common in psychiatric circles.  I know with traditional chinese medicine insomnia is considered a "shen" disturbance.  If you can fix shen then the issue goes away @Judi9877

Re: Good Morning!

.. yeah it's a bit of a double thing re study, it definitely gives you 'structure' .. I remember GP/counsellor was seeing when started uni saying what are you going to do over christmas break now that you have no structure . It hadnt occurred to me. Was funny, my daily routine, waiting for buses, catching buses, studying in library (so peaceful) going home, promising myself things if got to a certain amount done.. there was the Diary that ran it all .. course outlines , notes , notes for notes .. lol and my pentium computer with dial up modem lolz ..well it was late 90s ha ha .. and gallons of instant coffee , then if got stuck, would go for a walk on my route, sometimes several times a day lol @Judi9877  then would get poisitive reinforcement from getting good results, which fed back into the study loop .. lol

Re: Good Morning!

far out, didnt realise it went that far @Former-Member  um makes brain work better apparently as does being in constant 21degrees re aircon these days guess lol

um since covid, have started buying Velvet soap again, its way better than detergent for some things like stains in coffee cups, dirty saucepans etc, back in the day ok in Army, doing 'dixie bashing' .. they used to hang a can under hotwater tap with the bottom perforated with nails and have a cake of velvet soap in there lol
