no , we can be flooded in --which the highway can be cut off by water , but no houses in town gets flooded

and the water goes away very fast once the sun comes out which is good

That's good @Shaz51. The town near us got flooded 2 weeks ago. 2 or 3 houses inundated. But council allowed those houses ro be built so low and next to the creek / floodway.
In Central and northern Victoria, unless you are in the hills, then you're in a flood zone.

I had a few hours training today for a job I start tomorrow. Computer and auditing work for approx a month. An hr drive each way but will be good to earn some money.
I hope everyone is doing well tonight and keeping cool or dry - depending on where in this big country you live.

Well it was about 6 very short term assignments @utopia longest one 5 days had blow q couple days off due to health last week or so. But yes, need to get motivation back again real soon re money. Old employer has put me back at bottom of class on pick up jobs. Not sure whether to persist or just go elsewhere need to be working though

thanks @Former-Member ..that maybe later on, bit of a money crunch atm, never seem to use time wisely enough re job change/change of direction then it comes down to paying bills ..we'll see
