Saw your horse stuck in a fence and thought you might get a laugh out of this one too:

Wherever you are today, I hope you have a good one, it's lovely and sunny here in Adelaide!
Our family is going into town this afternoon for the annual Moon Lantern Festival, hopefully I'll get some interesting photographs of the parade and not freak out too much with the crowds. It'll definitely put my Mindullness practices to the test!
Here's an image I took yesterday of a static display of lanterns.

Had a long day out at Murray Bridge Show yesterday. Itr was very hot, and there was unfortunately no shade where our cattle were, so I got quite burnt.
I also just woke up, so I feel like I've wasted the day, and I'm probably not gonna sleep tonight, so I'll have a bad time at work tomorrow...
Ah well. One thing at a time.
@FancyPants your pic, and last weeks farm animal pics reminded me.
This is one of our cattle yesterday. As you can see, is was 100% done with the day, and decided to go to sleep. Snoring and everything. Poor baby, he's nine months old.

Just got back from my first proper walk on the beach for about 6 weeks. Hooray, my legs are improving! Few spots of rain then the sun came out. Close to low tide, walking barefoot in the shallows. Hardly anyone out and about, just a few easy going stragglers like us. Happy Sunday everyone. 🙂

Well, I have had a three day weekend with truly stunning weather. For the most part I have been quite lazy and self indulgent but today I also got a bit of stuff done, inlcuding laundry and mowing the lawns, as well as doing quite a bit of scanning from my colouring books. i finally realised I needed to have copies if I was ever going to actually colour in them.
The chicks have darn near trebled in size since they were brought home, and have become quite friendly - they are a delight! I'll try to get some photos this evening when it is not so hot outside.
It is my husband's birthday today, so I made hime a baked cheesecake and there is a lamb roast in the oven for dinner.
Hope everyone else has had a lovely weekend!
