Even though everything seems to be going ok so far today I am not coping, feeling like I am going to fall apart, just want to sit in a corner and cry but dont know how 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Not looking for a pity party, just feeling miserable and needed to get it out. Feel stupid but contemplating calling lifeline or someone when I get home later tonight if I cant get my act together.

@Determined - it's certainly not stupid to be feeling that way. You and your family have been through enormous pressure.
I watched a YouTube video this morning about depression. It features a British born Aussie who's a Buddhist monk over in Westrn Australia. It goes for a while and here's the link:- https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s7awYTTF0h8
One of the most useful things I got out of it was the old saying that "All things must pass" so the bad stuff will come to an end. It probably doesn't seem that way at the moment for you but it will.
I wish you strength to carry on.

I'll be around tonight if you need a shoulder to cry on. It must be hard. Hope you are okay taking your Darling back to hospital @Determined. Hang in there.

Thanks @soul
Didn't answer right away, managed to have a sleep. Drifting in and out at the moment. Probably a good thing but also wasted time we could be doing family stuff.
Not looking forward to the drive tonight, can do it ok driving is not a problem just emotional knowing treatment begins early in the morning. Children will be staying with grandparents as they dont want to go back to the hospital tonight. Good that they can express that. Also good as the quiet time will do me good on the return trip.

Glad @Determined you were able to get some zzzzz's. Your body is telling you it needs some rest. It would be no good to drive tired. Best that you are doing the trip without the kids.
What time do you expect o be back home?
