Hi @Bill16, good to see you round.
That sounds lovely, @Appleblossom.
What a great day with your children, @Former-Member.
I have recently started walking regularly on the beach with two other women. One is the friend I have reunited with recently after a few years apart. The other is her friend of many years, who I'm now just getting to know. We all have the bipolar diagnosis. Today I am grateful for the gift of their company.

Thinking of you @Former-Member it was good you started this thread.
Today, I walked by 2 men having an intelligent civilsed discussion about "life" whilst they were packing shelves in the supermarket .. I was so pleased and chatted briefly with them ... it was an older manager and a young employee ...
None of the meeting impossible demands I had heard about and witnessed in many places ... just an older guy working alongside ... but being a bit wiser than the young fellow ... it was matey argie bargie and polite!

Today I am glad that the Paris climate summit was positive ... Still lots of work to do ... but there is some realisation of the importance of co-operation among world powers.

The French have banned food wastage by vendors and are encouraging networks for distribution to the needy.

I am grateful for the cool change.
Yet I am mindful that at least 12 families have lost their homes in the Victorian bushfires.
5 horses and 1000 sheep died. It is wonderful that no human lives were lost.

Grateful to be alive.
Grateful for the privilege of motherhood.
My son stopped the dvd we were watching and called for a nap. Sounds cilvilsed to me to have a snooze after a big meal. The cooler is finally bring house into comfortable mode.
Last year my mother died on Chrismas day. I have thought about her a couple times today but it hasnt been too overwhelming or negative.
Grateful I survived the year.
