What Does Being Aboriginal and Culture Mean to You?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be Aboriginal and what our culture means to each of us. I know we all see it in diffrent ways, so I would love to hear your thoughts.

For some of us it might be about the connection to land, the stories, or our ancestors. For others, it might be about language, ceremony, or how we stick together. Maybe it’s the strength we have and how we keep going

What does being Aboriginal mean to you?

What parts of our culture do you hold close?

and how do you share it with the next generation?
I have 2 children that are Aboriginal and a new baby on the way, and one child (and my partner) that is not, it is important to my family that we share our knowledge and recognise how important being ally is. Everyone has a role to play.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and stories.

🖤
