Re: Bored of it

hi @MDT sorry to hear you're in a bad way.

I felt utterly stressed, anxious and depressed job searching for months on end with no offers coming back, no matter how much work & enthusiasm I put into my goal of getting a job. It is extremely stressful and difficult in my experience.

I volunteered for a year & that was critical to getting me out of the house and employed. I relied entirely on my volunteer bosses' references to get a library job, even though the volunteer work was in a totally unrelated field. I encourage you to start volunteering for all these reasons, its a very effective strategy for mental health and gaining employment.

I was unwell when I began volunteering and became unwell at many different times during the past year of volunteering. I found you can start and maintain it despite being unwell.
