Re: not feeling good
@BlueBay Do you have a bp machine at home ? Your bp might have dropped too low now. Best to rest and keep in touch with your Dr.
Take care. 💙💙💙💙

Re: not feeling good
Hi @BlueBay
3 different BP medications - that could be something that could make your BP fluctuate - it could be a red-flag - the first BP medication I took gave me a rough time and my BP was all over the place - and it was just one tablet - I have done well on half a different tablet
So it is something to check out - and if you don't do better go to the ED and take your medications with you - or at least the packets - and get your husband to drive you - well said @outlander
A physician has a speciality - and being a GP is also a speciality - so I don't think one is better than another - a GP comes across different problems with health and accidents and medication and whatever comes in his front door every day of his working life and that is pretty specialised in variety
And as far as I know a physician chooses a speciality and practises in that area - and so does a diagnostician and they are experts in that area or others he has chosen
So both bring their expertise and both are practising medicine - and learn as they go through the years in their career so both are important.
I felt my ears get alert when you mentioned the issues with your thyroid - in fact I had a sub-total thyroldectomy a long time ago but everytime I present for any kind of medical procedure I get questioned on any possible thyrold problems and I have been lucky that my problems there were non-toxic but I do understand that some thyroid problems could cause anxiety and exhaustion and it would be more than a good idea to have that checked out
Take things easy today if you can and if in doubt get someone to take you to the ED and if that doesn't work then ring 000 -
We all care about you here -

Re: not feeling good
hi everyone @Shaz51 @Owlunar @Maggie @outlander @MDT @Faith-and-Hope @Angels333 and others reading along
I had to lay down again before, feeling exhausted. And still i am very tired. no energy.
if i start to get palpitations again tonight i will go to hospital. it needs to be sorted out. i don't think that me taking 3 different meds for high BP is a good idea. it just seems too many. and i know that this new physician i saw on thursday hasn't spoken or notified by GP yet, so no one is talking to anyone just yet. no wonder i am confused with all these different meds.
i am starting to feel emotional, but i will go and distract myself with little A. she has just come home from her dads.

Re: not feeling good
My stars - @BlueBay I agree - 3 differents medications for the same problem is extreme
But I also know that whenever my GP refers me to anyone I get a computer print out on my health issues, medication and allergies - do you know if your physician received anything like this - I am guessing not from what you have written
Did he ask you what medication you were taking for everything? I am always prepared to tell anyone who is necessarily needing to know all of this what I am taking and why - and because I am always taking less than is presribed then this is vital
Time will pass and you are learning - we need to speak out for ourselves - it's not your fault that you didn't if you weren't asked but I really think it would be a good idea to get this checked before you take any more medication tonight - esp if you have been having palpitations

Re: not feeling good
I didn't get any paperwork from my doctor @Owlunar
but this new physician did know some of my issues but not all.
I'm feeling a bit off and Lightheaded. I'm laying down.
I'm actually getting a bit anxious.
